God the Father is the Lord of my life and my hearts desire.
God has called and mantled me for dance ministry. I have a burning passion
to dance, to restore and establish the very purpose for which the Lord
intended dance to be for the Kingdom for God. I understand the grave
responsibility and the seriousness of the call upon my life.
Preparation and studying the art of Dance was vital to carry
out what God was calling me to do. I studied dance extensively at Eastern
Michigan University, where I received my dance degree and most of my technical
dance training. I’ve studied ballet, modern, jazz and various other dance genre
and techniques. I choreographed dances and performed in many concerts. I choreographed works such as Faith, Now I
Know Love, Humbled by Grace, and many more works. I also took ballet and modern
dance classes at Peter Sparling’s dance studio in Ann Arbor Michigan to further
sharpen and hone my skills as a dancer. Several times a year I attended intense dance
workshops and dance study with highly skilled dance instructors from all over
the United States.
As God began to reveal the call of dance ministry on my life
and, while fervently studying the word of God, the Lord began to reveal His
heart about the significance of dance in the Body of Christ. I sought out
teachers who taught dance according to the word of God and who had established
successful and dance ministries. I studied dance under anointed women of God such as Susan Parks, Apostle Peggy Mason and Apostle Deborah Montgomery. I learned how to effectively minister
to God and His people. After years of preparation, God released me to minister in
dance at churches and for special events.
Eventually, God called me to serve as
the dance worship leader at Shekinah Christian Church in Ann Arbor, MI. God
blessed the ministry tremendously, there were 20 dancers made up of men, women
and children worshiping the Lord in Spirit and Truth. After several years of service, God
moved me to the Maryland/Washington D. C. area where He called me to birth Warriors of Righteousness for the New Millennium Dance Ministry.
I was
created to worship, praise and to exalt the Name of the Lord and establish the Kingdom of God. It is an esteemed honor to serve the Lord Jesus Christ in dance!
